Porto Heli or Portoheli is a summer resort town, situated on a Bay of the Argolic Gulf. It  is located in the southern part of the Municipality, 85 km from Nauplio, built on a natural port next to the ruins of the ancient city of the Halieis. It is considered as one of the most popular destinations in Argolida , providing luxurious facilities  Ideal for vessel owners as the port provides a yacht marine.

The area is one of the most popular destinations and attracts businessmen , ship owners and members of the royal family.There are ferry connections from Porto Heli to the islands of Spetses , Poros and Hydra as well as the opposite coast of Kynouria.

To the Municipality of Porto Heli also belong the summer settlements Kosta, Agios Aimilianos, Vererounda and Hinitsa..The area provides several bays and famous beaches such as Porto Heli , AKS Hinitsa Bay, Chrisi Akti, Ververounda, Kosta and Korakia. To the southern cape of Argolida, just a few km away from Porto Heli, you will find the area of Agios Aimilianos, with an amazing church , where you can enjoy the view to Spetses. Just 6km to the  east  , next to the settlement of Agios Aimilianos , you can swim in  the shallow water of the famous Kounoupi beach.

The small beach Hinitsa is between Kosta and Porto Heli . Clean full of sand with great view to the island of Hinitsa. Access is easy and the beach is well-organised with sunbeds , tennis courts, water sports facilities, cafes and  restaurants . One of the greatest beaches , close to Porto Heli is the lagoon Ververonda.. It  took its name by pirates, who used it as a shelter. According to traditions , the water can cure many diseases. There you can enjoy swimming , fresh fish, ouzo and water sports. Kranidi  is 7km away .

There you can visit the Archaeological  Museum , as on the pine tree hill of Agia Anna you can relax and admire the amazing view. Neoclassical mansions , windmills, colourful gardens full of flowers and stone walls will impress you. Koilada , 10km far away, is well-known for the fresh fish and the shrimps and for the port with the little fishing boats.
